A specially catalyzed sulfite applied to control oxygen corrosion in preboiler and internal boiler water systems.  Its rate of reaction with dissolved oxygen is up to 500 times faster than commercial sulfites.  Its formulation is compatible with standard boiler treatment products.  The product is authorized by USDA for use in federally inspected meat and poultry plants.
